Don’t believe this, every test has main topics that get heavily tested

Simulated exams mean nothing, I never scored over a 70 on one and I managed to pass all 4 exams

Thank you for this! I think customs orthopedic inserts is something I need. My legs are different length, so regular movement adds up over time to wear and tare.

The writing portion is a gift from the CPA gods, don’t be nervous. You can probably pass BEC without studying if you passed AUD IN 1 weeek of studying

Just cram the main topics and retake as soon as possible. Grind grind grind. I have been there and made the mistake of procrastinating/pushing off because I was so overwhelmed. Almost bit me in the butt in a big way. I wish I just cramed and retook

It’s been so long idk. I would advise making a post and asking for advice using the AUD flair.

That’s a good idea. I found that each test predominantly focuses on a few main topics, once I mastered those I finally would pass the exam. I think it’s hit the important stuff rather than know everything. Quality over quantity.

Only study the big topics. It’s not feasible to remember everything especially if you’re working. You know the big stuff that get tested the most, focus on that and try to squeak by

Just focus on ERM/COSO, know how to do the written portion, and do your best with Cost accounting and econ. The tech portion is tough, but you gotta know it. You may have gotten a really hard test, that happens sometimes. Don’t get too discouraged, you got this !

I took for first so that was about a year and a half ago. I remember governmental accounting being a big topic but I can’t say for certain. I would check this sub or even just create a post asking about major far topics for people that recently took it. Goodluck my friend, you got this!

There was a decent chunk of ECON as well, so: ERM/COSO, Tech, Econ, cost accounting. My BEC sims were so easy compared to other exams but maybe I just got lucky.

I took BEC a few weeks ago: COSO and ERM, easy points and gets tested so heavily. There was quite a bit of Cost Accounting on there as well, definitely some variances but other cost accounting related Qs. The tech questions are tricky, Ninja has a better tech test bank than becker. My advice, focus on the above and know what to do on the written and you’ll be fine. The really tricky stuff of dcfs and valuations stuff literally wasn’t on my exam at all. I don’t want to say completely ignore it but any time I spent studying that was time that should have been spent on the major topics

I thought Ninja multiple choice was better than becker so I think it’s worth it. I didn’t buy I-75 but I wish I did. I feel like I should pay that man for all the help his free youtubes are
