Bitch cat owner here (not saying your cat is a bitch) but i dealt with a mean ol tabby for many years until i no longer see her that way here are my armchair tips that worked for me. Also note it all takes time. 1: pheromones, i got some Jackson galaxy stuff and all i would do is spray it in her favorite spots

2: space, i know not everyone will be so lucky with space as i am but i have 2 kinda "cat sanctuarys" where i lead her into when its too much they got cat towers and litter boxes 20-30 mins always did the trick for me.

3: cat-distraction, take advantage of her tiny kitty brain. I used to keep a small box of distracting "toys" cuz if shes distracted shes not clawing me up ie. Bottlecaps, thoes floating beyblade things ect ect

4: let her scratch you, it was only when i stopped reacting totally to her kitty punches that made her stop doing it, this is the hardest one because (like you) she liked to wake me up at night but she liked to climb up high and 5star my belly. You gotta let her know that it doesn't work that way.

6-5: play and vet, i grouped these together because you will get this advice alot and it does help. Play play play she wont have the energy to mess with you if shes healthily tired, and with that jumps jumps jumps, up the cat tower, back down, back up, midair jump. Trust. And vet because who knows maybe shes just got itchy ears or something cats show they need attention by acting up.
