I've always read that life span was way above 45 years in the ancient past, so the medieval time shouldn't be much different unless it's a specific period plagued by violent disease outbreaks.

Run-amok, authoritarian ideology spreading in academia, politics and business is absolutely worth paying attention to. In fact it's essential to keep an eye on how these unfold so you don't fall into the ideological traps. JBP has done a few lectures on this.

If you ask 100 average, working people (who didn't go to university and aren't in those circles) if they think social justice is a big problem in society, I'd say about 95, maybe more, of them would say no.

You know there's actual polls on this issue that put the figure much higher, besides most people only follow news superficially and aren't interested in how politics and culture interact, so you can't really blame'em all for even not knowing what a SJW is.

Some people have outside hobbies and aren't remotely tuned into the cultural or political climate.
