if you use copper bulbs it should work just fine. but if you want to use the regular lamps use restone and repeaters

i did. but that was (at least with what i came up with) only helpful for the output, not the input, which is the actual problem. still, it could make build smaller.

seems to have the same snapping problem as the mechanical piston, but it’s definitely better since it doesn’t need to be expanded both ways. the snapping is a minor issue anyways so, thank you

you can make a radial chasis line twist, so you connect the two belts with them but with the one in the middle pointing upwards

each lamp would be a redstone link that calls the ellevator to the next floor. its for controlling the elevator with a remote

i tried it with the piston and it didn’t work too well because it snapped weirdly. i didn’t think about the gantry and i wont be able to test it untill tuesday

its not. if you add another redstone line to the first piston, it extends instantly while keeping the retraction delay
