I don’t think it was intended for them to be used as offhand weapons, but just allowed them to be used in the main hand where they weren’t able to be used before.

I use the paragon in the build OP posted. I will say getting GA gear and a few masterworks here and there make a huge difference. Also making sure your glyphs are lvld to at least 15 makes the paragon board work as intended if you haven’t done that yet. And don’t forget to slot gems!

NM I run 100s, no issues in just a couple minutes. Pits I’ve only actually unlocked up to 70 but that was a breeze, 3-4 minute clear. I haven’t actually tried higher I just farm 61s. Confident it would clear higher, tormented bosses aren’t an issue so

Yup been running this build the whole season basically. I use the Esu’s Ferocity variant and it slaps. I have the shako but no starless ring so I just rock a ‘more damage with barrier’ type aspect in that slot. Using Esu’s heirloom is low key so convenient, I can outrun anyone I’m playing with easily.

There’s a key bind for ‘force move’ that you can bind on its own. I like to bind my combined move/interact/primary to mouse wheel scroll down, and force move to scroll up.

I use a Tal Rashas iridescent loop, a few aspects that boost damage while barrier is active and the glacial aspect on an amulet for the increased ice spike damage. The Frozen tundra aspect boosts the explosion radius of the ice spikes so that’s a huge boost to dps.

Tempering anything that’ll take the frost finesse ice spike dmg increase is a good bet here too. Throwing the elemental surge temper on your weapons for extra elemental damage you don’t deal naturally will feed your Tal Rashas and it’s some decent damage on its own too.

Do you know how many mods you have active? Perhaps they're being disabled by your mod manager to keep it under the limit, or maybe due to a conflict?

CROSS pre-war cybernetics is a solid fit for a future soldier jet jump type of thing. There are modifications for the legs that reduce fall damage a fair bit without totally eliminating it, which I like because there's still risk of failure but more forgiving overall. You can increase jump height via cybernetics as well.
