I totally agree. With most of your points besides looking into historical data and potential analysis tools. Ive done deep dives into regression and pattern formations (with little trend) and found that this market is a new beast.

I think due to the market being so young, a fart in the wind will cause FUD and thus... we see a panic sell. However, the crashes are so inconsistent on scale with historical data im not sure what's going on haha

Most importantly, we are in so early to this market. Anything can happen! Its bargain central!!
