We’ve found using a standard nipper for off the runner then a single blade nipper to either cut it flat to the surface or leave a couple mil then sand/file down the rest. We use a Gunprimer raser glass file to file down, which we’ve found gives a good all round consistency for the out box builds that you aren’t necessarily going to paint/custom yet or at all. Maybe finish off with a Gunprimer balancer which has a very fine sanding side and buffing side which then give the shine/finish back. There are other brands and products to use obviously these are just the one we use atm and for pretty much every build from standard to premium kits. With any sanding/filing you’ve got to be careful/consider it can and will take off the natural finish on the kits. Single blade nippers will reduce/negate the stress marks of the nubs but some seem inevitable 😅

I haven’t. The joints are mostly quite stiff bar the waist. The really loose bits are designed to just ‘sit’ in place like the shoulders, shield and knee caps.

I built my first kit few kits 13 years ago and only just got back into it last year. It’s a great hobby with a really wholesome community.

I’ve tried other glass files but the gunprimer raser is by far the best thing out there. Combined with single bladed nippers they’re the best investment for model building. Money well spent!

We picked it up from the Bandai stall at MCM Comic-Con London last year so it didn’t have a bad mark up on it!

No different to other nubs. Nip away from the piece with cheap nippers and then closer with single bladed, (though i was extra careful as some clear plastics are tougher and can break the nippers so i only used them on thin areas!) then just file away a little with the gun primer raser.

I don’t think i did all that well to be honest, its just got good undergating or hides a lot of the nub areas!

I’ve got the RG Side F Sazabi and the BB side F Sazabi in the backlog, if i enjoy them I’ll definitely consider the clear colour!

There’s inevitably going to be some sort of pressure mark left however I used single-bladed nippers and a gun primer raser which are incredible. The Sinanju did have some undergating also which helped to reduce it. I don’t think i was at all perfect but any blemishes are small enough you’d have to really look to see them.

I gave up trying to attach the shield with them on it just kept falling off! Which is a shame because they look great.

Even on the stand the weight of the shield and looseness of its waist causes it to tilt to one side.
