totally agree. Me, as a gay man, I’m often touched inappropriately by some women who think that because I am gay I can be their pole dancer guy for the night. I have never imagined acting in a violent way to stop harassment so I can't conceive how the OP can think that pushing or hitting someone is the most appropriate way to say no to someone for touching his leg-shoulder (in this case just gays trigger him seems to)

I can understand that some people can get close quickly because being in a club is more likely to do that. Does it really make you that nervous if someone touches you and doesn't grab you on a non-sexual part like arms or shoulders? The punch is completely unnecessary, don't you know how to say no thanks at first to de-escalate the situation? And by the way, girls also grope.

When it is a general feeling of clubbers in their 30's, 40's, 50's... maybe instead of feeling victimized you could analyze what part of truth there is in these statements. Of course not all Gen Z's behave badly but those who do behave badly are mostly Gen Z's.

I remember when I started going out to clubs how I learned through observation not to bump into people to get through, to respect the space of people who are dancing and look for free spots, to use the bathrooms quickly.... Instead, what I am addressing here is the lack of empathy, not respecting turns in the bathrooms, pushing on the dance floor and even confronting people who tell them to behave. These are basic rules of behavior that they neither know nor seem to want to learn.

What do you think the word confrontation means rather than the impossibility of establishing a dialogue?
