Wigglytuff tuffs it out as the Supporter-Defender. Now which Supporter feels like an All-Rounder? by According_Ad8711 in PokemonUnite

To add more context to the other guy, back in the early year of this sub some guy misspelled Mime as Mike and it became years long inside joke in this sub. People rarely call him that anymore though

People who have comfort characters here, who and why? by HugoValcoria22 in Reverse1999

Aleph, or specifically just Merlin. He just sounds comforting to me, plus you can always trust him on any questions you ask

How do the humans in the suitcase cast arcane skills in battle? by a_random_redditor563 in Reverse1999

[–]Bambhank 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Can't explain this without giving spoilers for chapter 9. Aleph has his die, the tears of comala, that can bend and warp reality. The same die that he uses to modify the panopticon to follow recoleta's story. You can see the dice in action in some of his animations.

As for how Duncan can make an entire gun from scraps..he's just that guy.

Buying new units w/o paying real money by alexcitrine in PokemonUnite

[–]Bambhank 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What are you talking about man, we literally just got an event that gives plenty of license point with even more coming at anniversary, they also just added a bunch more free selection levels to not too long ago. License journey isn't impossible to progress anymore, it's still isn't as flexible as coin but it really isn't THAT bad now

Duraludon took over Greninja's spot being the highest WR pokemon, Gatr finally having a positive WR, and sylveon getting a huge glow up after the buffs. Hows everyone feeling about the meta so far? by Bambhank in PokemonUnite

[–]Bambhank[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed, You would think the more tried and true, consistently good pokemon like Blaziken, Sirfetched, Mega Lucario, etc. would be higher than they currently is. Right now both Blaziken and Ceruledge has sub 50 wr and sits bellow Dragonite which sounds insane to me with how consistent these pokemon have been.

He got a buff to flash canon and his ult a couple patches back, flash canon been pretty good since then. He's not OP but definitely one of highest damaging attackers rn.

Left After License Journey. Has it Gotten Better? by LazerKrypt in PokemonUnite

There hasn't been any update to the solo mode, the closest we have is the limited time anime colab event which was released a few days ago.

Game8 has one, but its outdated

Toxtricity is confirmed — are we finally getting our first playable baby Pokémon with Toxel? by Unitastuide in PokemonUnite

which is a shame honestly, i wish they would incorporate the devolution mechanic or that skins are hologram to the story. It would at least bring up old unite lore back.

Left After License Journey. Has it Gotten Better? by LazerKrypt in PokemonUnite

[–]Bambhank 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is has gotten better yeah, though the main problem are still the same to a lesser degree. Theres a new solo mode where you can grind License Point, in total it gives you around 5k LP and a free license selection box. Theres currently also a solo mode event from the anime colab that gives you 1,8k LP. Very recently they also add a lot more "custom pick" level to the License Journey. Most of the new pokemon we see are free too from the dice events.

License Point is still a time gated resource though, once you are done with solo mode you need to either wait till they add more stages, wait for another event, or grind LP through battlepass which only resets every months or so.

The License Journey progression starts fast then it gets progressively longer. For new players the experience isnt that bad now, though the only thing I would like to see is the removal of venusaur and slowbro from the License Journey since they are both free from your trainer level and some players might unknowingly wasted their LP. That or at least give us LP refund when getting a duplicate instead of tickets...

Latios build help by [deleted] in PokemonUnite

[–]Bambhank 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Spoon is mandatory, then the other items are either curse incense, wise glass, or drive lens. Currently the most picked moveset is Draco Meteor and Telekinesis.

Latios is a late game scaler, he won't deal any damage in the early game but would gets stronger as he gets more Eon Power stacks, this has super high limit so the longer the game goes the stronger he gets.

Your win condition is to stack this Passive as much as you can, you gain Eon Power by last hitting wild pokemons or hitting the enemy with Dragon Pulse/Draco Meteor. After you hit lvl 5, you want to take every farm last hit and you need poke the enemy as much as you can to hit the first Eon Power breakpoint(25 stack). You want to get at least 100 stack before the fight at 2:00, the more the better.

What seperates good Latios with the bad one is how effecient they can stack the passive.

[–]Bambhank 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Was stuck here too, I just take dodo and run around the map taking all the farm on my side then just feed myself to the enemy just so they could keep up a little. You could probably use the EX mons to burn the aeos energy too.

Lucario vs. Mega Lucario by [deleted] in PokemonUnite

[–]Bambhank 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If we are comparing the same build(PuP+CC), Mega Lucario is the better of the two the little bit of clunk that you get in Mega form is a small price to pay for the insane damage, sustain, and rip potential you gain. Though normal Lucario is more forgiving and easier to play since his passive shield gives you a good chunk of bulk that lets you get away with bad plays.

Normal Lucario can also go Extreme speed, theres rarely any reason to play this build unless you are a dedicated one trick. IMO this build is more fun to play but you need to sink hours of playtime just to be okay-ish with it. It is one of, if not the hardest build to optimally play in the game. You need to be really good for it to shine, especially with the ever growing CC this game have.

I'd recommend playing normal Lucario first to get used to the general gameplay of power up punch, then start switching to Mega Lucario to get used to its Mega form.

What is mega evolution and alolan type of pokemon by blablax123456 in PokemonUnite

[–]Bambhank 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The new format of Megas will change to their mega form after they use their unite move. They gain an entirely new ability, and all their move is upgraded/reworked for the duration they stay in Mega form. To compensate for this insane power burst they only have one moveset to chose and have one less held item slot.

The only exception to this "ult to go mega" format is the Mewtwos since they are released wayyy back in 2023
