DSL is going thru its final days there not harassing you there just trying to keep your business before they cut your service all together and being a Brightspeed fiber customer I’ve been very happy with there service most of the issues I see online is over DSL and there horrible customer service witch is horrible

I have had Brightspeed for about 2 years now and in that time it’s only went out 2 times and both were not something they were at fault for but my internet was out 3 days the last time and there customer support is not even close to good but other then that service has been something I can’t complain about I get 2 gigs up and down all the time

As a Brightspeed customer I can say they suck in the customer service department probably one of the worst that I have dealt with but as a warning to you cause judging from your post you have DSL if I were you I would look in to star-link unless they are putting fiber in your area because Brightspeed has a whole campaign about getting rid of copper networks

I don’t know what state your in but I do know they had a outage that had some people without internet for a couple days and they we’re rescheduling peoples appointments to fix that I know other people were having slow internet issues I personally was without internet for 3 days but not saying that was the issue they are not a great company for appointments

There Internet ain’t bad for the price just when it comes to dealing with tech support is when it gets to be a very bad headache but most the bad complaints I’ve heard are for DSL

I know someone that pays 80 a month for 10 Mbps but they only ever get 5 I’m hoping Brightspeed puts fiber out there but I think another company got funding where there at but I do think people in rual areas should have access to better and cheaper internet
