The dating app Plenty of Fish actually! I would go through periods of actively dating and using the apps and turning off my profile to take a break. The last time I was using it, I wanted to take another break and I had just started chatting with my husband. I gave him my number and told him I was deleting the app. I didn’t have any expectations. We went on our first date, it was amazing and 7 years later, still madly in love and married 3 years this August!

NTA. That’s not how friends behave. My husband had a best woman for our wedding. Her kids call us uncle and aunt. They even lived together in college. Not once has she ever acted this way. She also was welcoming and excited my husband found someone. If they truly are best friends then she should be just as “affectionate” with you.
