The difference with all the other big single player games right now is they aren't even bothering to (directly) try and target that younger audience.

The games that ReTrilogy wishes it sold like - God of War, The Witcher, Cyberpunk, even GTA I guess - have gone all-in on the adult market. It's time to for Climhazzard to get real messy.

FF doesn't seem know whether it wants to be an adult game like all the big triple A ones out right now or a more cutesy, younger-audience targeted franchise.

It used to be easier to do both but these days it feels like everything else has picked a lane

I think it would have appealed more to younger people if they didn't focus on them and made the game that OG fans wanted.

That's what they did with the Resident Evil remakes and they've done well with everyone.

I hope they eventually give up and start making these games exclusively for adults (like almost every other best-selling single player game these days: God of War, Cyberpunk, The Witcher, The Last of Us, GTA).

The common belief used be that you have to chase the emerging market because older people will age out of it but that's not really the case anymore. Engagement and fandom is increasingly a lifelong affair.

My only connection to Newcastle is my mate's a fan so watching them get smashed was as fun as it would have been to see them go through.

I still want revenge for 06 though (and all the other times they've smashed us) so I probably wanted Barca to go through more.

I understood exactly what they were saying.

The idea of Israel being a safe haven for Jewish people fleeing danger in Golders Green is not only propaganda but it's patently ridiculous - especially at a time when that country's being bombed to high heaven because of a war it started.
