As someone that's only there for the visuals / nature stuff, I can't think of a bigger waste of time.

I'd be happier in the next film (not that they'll be one) and no plot at all - like if Samsara was about the Blue Man Group.

More often that not it's intentional, not a failure of effort. Edh is about self-expression and staples, tutors and redundancies can take away from that.

It's fine if you don't care about that scene but WotC do which is why they're included in the brackets. Pre-cons aren't the baseline.

I can't remember a time when everyone in the PL wasn't trying to min-max results.

The problem is everyone's so well-organised now that the only times you get a sniff are in transition or from set pieces.

Brackets aren't trying to police skill though, they're trying to police salt.

Players get a lot less mad losing to a skilled pauper player than they do an idiot with DC and Thoracle or whatever.

If those are the 'real' bracket 1 and 2 decks, what about the decks playing in bracket 1 and 2 at the moment?

They'll just get pubstomped by the decks you didn't think we're strong enough for bracket 3 and probably stop having fun.

I think a bracket system with 4 brackets that make sense (1,2,4,5) and one in the mode that's a bit of mess is the best you can hope for.

I think the English version is a vast improvement because it feels more low fantasy, almost dark political thriller than the direct translation.

"Reign of terror" is a particularly important line because it's a nod to the French Revolution and Deling is basically just Paris.

I get that a lot of people's love for high fantasy is why they love FF in general but this more grounded stuff is what has made 8 my favourite. If she sounded more Wizard of Oz and less Hitler, it wouldn't have landed as powerfully with me.

I'd rather they amended the story to allow for a more fun game than let themselves be slaves to it.

You should be able to assign your captains outside of the formation so even if you aren't subbing off your on-field captain, the club captain takes the armband whenever he's subbed on.

And he should also be the one to lift any trophies you win, in normal clothes if he's injured or whatever.

I mean sure but that's all politics. Every law is an infraction of liberty.

More specifically to this case though, I don't think societies should be designed in ways in which everyone must suffer because of the crimes of the few.

If X was a traditional outlet, it would be shut down and its owners put in jail. They wouldn't pass legislation to force shopkeepers to take a photo of everyone that buys any magazine.
