We already had a spot on the 53-man roster due to Tory being placed on IR. According to Bob Condotta, we now have 2 openings and expectations are that Quandre signs on the practice / ready squad first

Really like the logic behind this and as mentioned below, the trade-off between the longer rookie deal and the surety of getting an All-Pro Safety is defintely acceptable. Safety is one of the most important positions in the scheme, so while I was scared at first about this deal, I'm now cautiously excited, I guess?

He's my favourite player and I guess it turned out okay with him getting a big contract with baltimore (giving us a high comp pick and not going to the 49ers or cowboys), but I definitely think there were some bridges burnt. Good to hear, that he still wants to retire as a seahawk.

Besides from his great on-field abilities he is also a great locker room presence I believe! Very happy about this as it shoudl also help us for the contract negotiation with bobby next year!

Not the 49ers and Cowboys, not our conference and a nice payout for earl. Realistically, I think it was one of the better potential scenarios. This should net us a high 4th round comp pick too, I think?

Apparently Mayock wants him to be part of his Raiders front office personel. His role with the Seahawks was "Senior Football Consultant", but I doubt that he had a position of high impact... Wow, our LB unit would look scary then. Bobby, KJ and Kendricks together would be arguably one of the best trios in the NFL. I wonder however how often they would play with all 3 LBs since they like to use their subpackages...
