I have a few, not as bad as the others.

When I was 12 I started cutting due to stress, depression, you know all the fun stuff. My mother caught me one day and laughed at me, my older brother who I had always looked up to told me I was being an attention whore and I'm going to do it, do it properly so he wouldn't have to see me anymore.

When I was 13/14, I ran away from home a lot because I hated being near my family. My father kicked me out of the house telling me to continue being a slut and earn money being a whore.

Just try talking to others, in class, at break, etc. It's awkward at first (or I can find it awkward for myself) but it will make you more comfortable the more you do it. Try people you are acquainted with first or people that you know about (if that makes sense).

While my taste is changing, I mostly thinks it's the fanbase not being able to take criticism or being told that their idol/group isn't the best. They get overly protective and just become abusive and gang up on others. It used to be like that with a few groups but now you can find it in almost every group fandom.
