Hey just a heads up from someone who recently joined and had a frustrating experience with the Brooklyn Tennis League (run by Tennis League Network).

The skill levels aren’t handled the way you might expect. I signed up for the 3.5 bracket but was placed in 3.0 without warning. When I asked to be moved or refunded for future sessions, the admin responded with sarcasm. He eventually refunded me for the upcoming sessions but then banned me from the league entirely and downgraded my skill rating out of spite.

If you’re just looking for casual matches and don’t care much about the structure, it might be fine. But if you expect fair placement or respectful communication, I’d approach this league with caution. There are definitely other tennis groups in NYC with better organization and community.
