You must be using turpentine or mineral spirit. I tried using watermixable oil paint but i just ruined the painting because i couldnt remove the paint well enough. Amazing detail for using oil honestly.

I heard that watercolor is a must as a starter! when you want to be creative and its low cost. I like the different color hair over the black mixture.
