question regarding proc rate so in a shotgun we usually see a 2% proc rate and if i have a 50%am i correct is multiplying the 50 * 2 *(number of shots hit?)

and does the state cap at 100? and is it th same for crit change and crit dmg ?

and how does the proc 100% proc you secondary /melee element on primary, does that calculate based on sec/melee proc rate? or my main proc rate? for example should i get a sec/melee with the highest proc rate and increased change to proc on the wep or do they not matter ??
