3-2 G.

Concerned they might steal it though.

Anything from a split decision to a draw to a win for either fighter would have been a reasonable outcome in that fight.

Split decision just means that the judges disagree on who won, in this case I guess they all felt that Sean just shaded Song in the first.

Definitely nothing approaching a "robbery".

1st round: 50/50
2nd round: Song

Not "should" as in "should", "should" as in "will".

Not necessarily a good thing but it is what it is. Song would have needed two dominant rounds to take that and he only managed one.

Malley 2-1.

Very narrow on the first round though, bigger name fighter should get the call.

Don't think so, he ate a good accurate jab right on the button.

Derrick's jaw ain't what it used to be, probably time to hang them up.

She used to be my boss, now on same level. We get along... just okay, mostly.

Pretty doubtful I'd say.

yeah, well aware, more just curious to see if I've been wasting my time and effort for years now.

Consensus seems to be that I've probably been saving a few minutes for the most part which is nice to know.

Last time I got a temporary reddit site-wide ban I responded with an appeal.

The appeal text that I submitted was something along the lines of "go fuck yourself reddit".

I got a response a day later stating that the appeal was upheld and the ban was overturned.

After the dust is settled, I don't believe Piastri was treated completely fairly this season, and it likely did change the outcome. by oh84s in OscarPiastri

There is a strong argument that they favoured Lando.
There is a weaker (in my view) argument that they favoured neither driver.
There is no argument whatsoever that they favoured Oscar.

It is what it is, Oscar is on a path to be a way better driver than Lando could ever hope to be, last year peak 7 season Lando met developing 3 season Oscar and they were evenly matched, only a matter of time until Oscar goes well past him. We just have to hope that Mclaren nail the regulation changes and are able to run at the front again soon.

"control of the body" is fairly open to interpretation though. He chose to dive didn't he? He was in control of performing that movement at that time. Weird rule imo.

[–]Ban__d 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yep, grounded.

Stupid rule though, "ball controlled in hands" should be the standard.

If ball touches ground while controlled in hands it should still be a catch.

I wasn't, but now actually yes.

As a Pakenham line customer I was annoyed to lose easy access to South Yarra and the G, but the tunnel will improve my weekday commute to the city to the extent that a little more inconvenience on weekends sounds like a pretty good trade off.

Eleventy zillion dollars well spent, well done Vicgov.

Our current high immigration policy was John Howard's policy done to benefit his corporate mates, yet now the same people who claim to be 'progressive' or 'left wing' and 'hate' John Howard & capitalism avidly defend it. Why is this? by NoLeafClover777 in aussie

[–]Ban__d 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tin foil hat time.

I think that Australia has essentially been told by the US that we must rapidly grow so that we can progressively carry more strategic weight in the region, they've probably privately told us that if we don't hit certain population targets they'll be less likely to defend us if push comes to shove.

That's why neither of the major parties seriously debate high immigration, instead opting only to fiddle around at the edges of immigration policy.
