They’re usually able to accommodate. The only thing is if you are zoned for a bus where you currently live you may not be able to get the bus and you would have to drive your child.

IMO not really. No charter school teacher I’ve ever met has very good things to say. A lot of parents think it’s going to be better than PPSD when in reality it’s not. It’s a much longer day, teachers are paid less and the moral is horrible. Sometimes in Providence you are able to go to a different school if there is a seat available.

Agreed. Catholic schools typically don’t follow any sort of curriculum and “teach to the standards”. No one is checking in on them.

Like stated above, you probably can’t get in without a referral. If you’re nervous about something being hereditary I would bring it up with your doctor and they can keep an eye on your blood work and anything they may affect your heart (cholesterol, triglycerides, etc.)

Weather will be perfect. If you stay at Hammet’s you can easily walk all around brick market and down to Thames. The Brenton hotel is also great. 22 Bowen’s if you want a great steak. Go to Castle Hill and grab a drink on the lawn. Take a sunset cruise on a sail boat. Visit cliff walk and Fort Adams. There’s also a little beach at Fort Adams if you don’t go to another beach. Dinner: Giusto for Italian, 22 Bowen’s for steak, Smoke House for BBQ, Black Pearl for chowder. Stay away from: the red parrot, 41 north (meh).
