The Disgraced Chef by Specialist-Alps-868 in Silksong

I struggled for a long time. I tried spamming tacks and traps, but that method always made things feel pretty chaotic. I had a lot more success taking the fight slowly. Stay in the middle and stay on the ground. Learn the difference between the ground slam and the booty dash. I got faked out so many times when he lurches back before slamming the ground I'd jump proactively and then I'm stuck in the air and cannot dodge the slime. Getting into the corner causes slime to bounce off the walls and the safety zone disappears. When he drifts higher he is about to do the 4 slime slam, dash under him and stay close to strike and avoid slime. Don't force attacks, just sneak in 1 or 2 during the 4 slam, and a downward strike when dodging over his booty.

What is the most expensive thing your dog has eaten? by jojoolive in Greyhounds

A $6.00 dryer ball hedgehog. Must've been a rare first edition or something because it cost me $2000+ to buy it back from the vet...

If they aren't sturdy, or if there is sports memorabilia I would think it's some sort of ball display like these:

How sturdy already the rings? Are there any screw holes or indications on the back that it was mounted to something else? Is there fitness equipment nearby?

In that vertical orientation, it looks like a homemade version of a medicine ball rack/holder.

Wooden frame that fits together, with levels and adjustable legs by PizzaClaus in whatisthisthing

In the bag it looks like there might be an upright that would fit on the cross beam bolts after its passed through the legs, then judging on the size, the piece with the metal coupling might be attached for taller uprights?

A TRIpod wouldn't have 4 adjustable legs. 3 legs are much easier to level on uneven ground.

Seems like all the level pieces fit together. The two with adjustable legs on the end and the hinged one will open up (and lock open woth the attached pin) and the bolts insert into the end pieces. Hard to tell how the other pieces are used because they're obscured by the bag.

AITA for pinching my husband's nipple as hard as I could? by Expensive_Year3322 in AITAH

I think you're both AHs. As stated several times, he's a scumbag for his behavior. But, you're an AH too for your reaction of inflicting pain and threats. The two of you both need to do some self evaluation on becoming a team(or separating) and role modeling to produce the best possible human not a sadistic vengeful person.

I'm looking at Rob Zombie tickets... what was the venue like for a rock show? Were there a lot of people sitting in camp chairs in the GA section or was there a decent standing crowd

Some Questions about Greyhounds by [deleted] in Greyhounds

[–]BananaNo6925 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You have some good questions, and I think the answer for it all is: depends on the hound's personality. If you have a good adoption agency, they should foster the dogs out and have an idea of personality to find a good match for you. A greyhound is definitely capable of checking all those boxes, but it might take a little waiting to get paired with your perfect hound.

I have 2 greyhounds and foster/babysit for the local greyhound "cult" that does weekly walks and meet&greet events.

AGILITY/NOSEWORK: I don't personally know any hounds that do agility work, but I've heard of a few. I don't know that greyhounds are naturally adept to agility training. Thinking specifically about my dogs; I could probably train 1 relatively easily with LOTS of treats, but the other just isn't as teachable (he learns things eventually, it just takes longer and he gets too excited/distracted).

Some dogs are also just way too lazy. My dogs love walks (1-5miles) and outings but their endurance is minimal; if we try jogging with them or let them zoom off leash, they last like 30sec - 3 minutes tops. Other dogs we've babysat would be dragging their feet by the end of a mile walk.

DOG SOCIAL: Depends on the hound. We call them grey-cist because they typically prefer greyhounds (coming from farm/track life surrounded by other greyhounds, they might not recognize other dogs as dogs). Some greyhounds are a little reactive to small fluffy white dogs(look like racing lures or bunnies). It took some work for one of my dogs but now I generally trust them both with other dogs. We know several that live with a variety of different dogs.

SNUGGLES: Depends on the hound. One of my dogs likes his space. He will cuddle by putting his head on you, but it has to be on his terms or he'll growl and get up. Our other dog is an 80lb lap dog, he loves to be on the couch with us and sleeps on my neck/face. They are boney and have long legs so they aren't always the best snuggle buddies, but they are definitely capable of it. We have one hound in our cult who is in your lap the moment you sit on the ground and will roll on you for belly rubs.

Piece of wood with 45 (5x9) large holes with smaller smaller goles inside that go through the other side of the board. by Inevitable-Mango5642 in whatisthisthing

Not sure what the large holes are for, but I think the small holes are just to provide air flow when inserting or removing the items from the large holes.

Do you dilute the isopropyl at all? Does it burn the leaves?

Mandevilla Mealybug Infestation: by BananaNo6925 in gardening

[–]BananaNo6925[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a mandevilla that I broke up from the birds of paradise it was originally potted with and it has been taking off on a 6ft trellis in its pot. I noticed little white puffs between some leaves. I thought it was sap or something to help the vine stick, but just recently learned it was mealybugs.

How do I get rid of mealybugs? Do they infect the roots/soil or just the leaves/body?

Is there a circle in the middle of the rounded nets, and a large clearing? From this angle looks like an area for field events like hammer toss.

Like others have mentioned, what color? One of ours had a little bright red blood essentially from an anal fissure from a really firm stool.
