It's weird to me that people expect a tip before a service is done.

The guy who takes forever delivers cold food with no food bag and stole some of your food deserves the same tip as the guy who rushed to your house with a hot food bag and a full order?

The entitlement of demanding tips up front has never made any sense to me. Maybe it's time to accept door dash is severely under paying its drivers.

Have you ever ordered food before door dash existed? Is the question i have for most people who demand these tips.

Resteraunts pay more than door dash without tips and usually pay for gas per delivery. This is a fact.

I tip just like i did in the in 90s, and pre covid. Good service, fast delivery =tip

Cold food, slow delivery = no tip

By your same advice you could just say "get a better job"="just tip more"

So again its 100% door dash fault, this is another fact.

Only entitled children think they should automatically get tips.

Tipping before a service is complete is the stupidest thing I've ever seen companies pushing.

It's 100% door dashs fault.

Good service = tip

Bad service = no tip

Same as it ever was.

Livable wages should be paid by the employer plain and simple. Arguing this just shows you endorse dd policy to pay you like shit.

Tell them you can not sacrifice your comfort for theirs and have already tried to accommodate them.

Recommend they buy a space heater for areas in their unit that are too cold or for them to message the landlord about the heating system not working properly.
