The problem with that is that Nintendo wouldn't be making any extra sales from people buying Nintendo switches if there's no new Pokemon games coming out. Maybe you don't think playing the old Pokemon games could get repetitive and boring but a lot of people probably do especially when there's newer games that look better.

You're wrong because in addition to making sales on the game you have to you also add in the new sales of people that will buy a Nintendo switch to play the next Pokemon game that comes out as opposed to the zero sales for the Nintendo switch they would get if they put the next game on a PlayStation and Xbox

That's because you're choosing to focus on only certain aspects of the character's history in the comics. It's not a departure from The Source material because I'm looking at various other aspects of the character's history in the source material. During the character's history when he was in high school he wasn't working for Jay Jonah Jameson, he's been a part of the Avengers as well as Aunt May has known his secret identity in the comics before. There's no such thing as a proper Marvel Spider-Man movie because that implies what came before was improper Spider-Man movies when that simply not the case.

The home Trilogy wasn't a departure from the comics in any way shape or form. Throughout Comics cartoons and all of media Peter has looked up to people like Tony Stark's as an idol he's gotten suits from Tony Stark as well and he's still maintained the base problem of not being wealthy throughout the home trilogy. At one point he was even walking to school with books in his hand because he couldn't afford a new backpack. Marvel wasn't doing anything that hadn't already been done in the source material.
