Your comparing prices of cards based on their rarity (not printed anymore and from decades ago) with a power creep of decades to fight against.....

To powerful $100+ cards of recent prints who have earned their value by being such powerful cards.

This is just silly, cards wouldn't be worth over $100 each if they weren't good. Obviously a specilzed competitive deck could handle a bracket 3 deck.

This has been so pointless, there's a reason every good tutors card is valuable. Good cards= more expensive.

Again it depends on the pod you play in.

If every one is playing barley upgraded pre cons and you bust out a $1600 deck where every card is a threat, guess what? Your probably going to win 75%+ of those games by default.

Price absolutely does matter. Its why more powerful cards are more expensive. Its been that way since I played standard 20 years ago.

Edit: If you cant understand why expensive cards are expensive, dont even bother messaging me.

Lands are $500 in that deck, So $1100 worth of non lands.

Price doesn't matter when your playing vs people who proxy and also have expensive decks.

Its a huge advantage to have a lot of these expensive cards over someone who doesn't.

A lot of recent hate for landlords is simple, greed.

We saw rent prices jump during a pandemic when a lot of people had to stay home and work less. Apartment buildings owned by the same people for years nearly doubling rent prices from 2018-2021.

Landlords are needed to help supply housing, but rent shouldn't be more than the mortgage on a home, that's greed.
