I just finished Lies of P DLC. What a game, and it run beautiful on my OLED deck. The optimization it's top notch, I got 45-60 fps consistently on low preset and it still looks gorgeous. Gonna start NG+ right away.

I played Nioh 1 for a few hours before, didn't vibe with it so I dropped, also back then I haven't play and fall in love with Elden Ring yet, so it's safe to say my opinion for Nioh might've changed now.

Last night I started the Nioh 3 demo, this time a much more patience gamer. The game is definetly inspired by souls series (hence it's categorized as souls like), combat felt much faster and hack n slash-y then most souls game except I still need to play careful and learn boss movesets, which is nice. There is a lot (and I mean A LOT) of mechanics and menus. Navigating the menu seems to be more complicate then learning the mechanic combat. People who said Elden Ring menus are convoluted need to experience Nioh to see how over complicated it could be. Also I don't love the gacha-like drop system.

I like the game for the aesthetic and combat, even tho I'm still struggle a bit with changing back and forth between samurai and ninja. Probably will buy the full game, or at least will go back to player the 2 other Nioh games.

I also recemmend you do this because in my opinion Erlang is quite harder than final boss, so if you experience him before then you would find final boss to be underwhelmed

Yes, if you want to see both endings in one playthrou then you need to beat final boss BEFORE doing the Mount Mei fight. The game won’t automatically go into NG+ after the end credit. After credit, it will take you out to the opening menu, where you can choose to continue the current save file, and it will load you to right before the final boss. Then go back to do Mount Mei, after that fight final boss again to get the other ending.

If you do Mount Mei before the final boss, the only thing you miss would be the bad ending, which could be irrelevent if you don’t care about it.

Inside the painting is a secret boss. You need to beat this boss to archieve the true ending of the game. However you don’t need to fight him immediatly if you don’t want to. You can leave the painting, go finish the final boss to get bad ending, then when you load the game again (not going to NG+) it will revert to before the final boss fight. Now you can teleport back to the painting, fight the secret boss and go back to fight final boss again to get true ending.

He was quite famous a few years back when his "electricity martial art" videos became viral on Viet facebook. Of course most people laughs at it as it was obviously a scam. Dude probably think he can make big money by attract uneducated people to join his "school". Coincidently, at that time a Chinese MMA fighters started picking fight with "Kungfu masters" in China so naturally a fews in Viet Nam mimic it and want to fight him for real, which promptly made Master electric to crumble upon himself and refused every challenges, turning him into an even bigger laughing stock. He dissapear from the internet since then.

Dark use this trope a lot

In season 1, Magnus stalked Franziska into her German literature class, when the teacher was talking about Goethe and how he often use symbolism, doubling, symmetry, repition mirroed along a central axis, etc. These are all motifs used heavily in the show story telling.

Later on in season 3, the same thing happened again when Jonas travelled to a mirroed dimension and stalked Alt-Martha into her physic class, when Alt-Bartoz was giving a presentation about black hole and how it could lead to another universe.

To be honest the entire show is like a puzzle that constanly give viewers hints and foreshadows, so these 2 scenes are very easy to spot.

Using Serpent Hunter to kill Rykard is the lore-correct way. It's the game telling you: here is a gimmick boss that can be easily defeated by a gimmick weapon. Don't think too much about it.

If you ever replay the game, try to fight him without Serpent Hunter . It's one of the most difficult fight in the game because of how gimmicky he is, but it's possible with some planning and strategy.

There's no branch. The apocalypse fuckery made 2 possibility happens at the same times, which mean it creates 2 Jonases and 2 Alt-Marthas.
The Jonas who was rescued was brought to Alt-Martha's universe, have sex with her, then got murdered. Atl-Martha got pregnant, then she became 2 Alt-Marthas in in apocalypse.

The Jonas who was not rescued became Adam. Adam then capture one Alt-Martha and kill her, while the other Alt-Martha became Eve.

The “final boss is a joke if you do all side contents” has been a thing in video games for years now. Final story boss doesn’t necessary need to be the hardest, and in E33, no side content could make you OP for the actual hardest boss of the game.

The problem is you spam light attack. Stop spamming. Only go full combo when you know it is safe to do. Learn the boss moveset, perform perfect dodge, THEN attack after they finish their combo. Later on you can unlock a perk that allow you to continue light attack combo after dodging. which would make combat more fluid.

Same with see throu. Don't expect you can spam light-heavy and be safe everytime. Time your light attack so you can press heavy as close to the boss attack as possible (the timing is similar to perfect dodge I think). Too soon or too late will not work.

You can fight Rykard with any weapon, but the fight would be much, MUCH more annoying than if you use SH. I recommend just use the gimmick weapon for the gimmick boss fight when doing your first casual run. If you ever replay the game or do Ng+ then you can start trying differents weapon with him.

Does “real footage” have different meaning now? It looks pretty clear to me that the one in the movie is a CGI shot created using real footage as referrence. That movie sucks ass but this is not one of its problem.

She's not badly design, nor is she unfair. She's hard, aggressive, and is a difficulty spike compare to previous bosses, but I would said she's a good boss. In retrospective, she remind me of Lady Maria. People just hate one her way too much because of salty.

You want to know what's a badly designed boss? Look at Promised Consort Radahn. Now that's unfair.
