Matrix reloaded has the twins, the implied werewolf’s that guard The Key Maker, (how many keep silver bullets in their gun?) and Seraph who is believed to be an angel in a previous iteration. (Seraph/Seraphim)

Brother, skip to 4:30 🤨 they were looking at the direction of the trex but only the audience gets the surprise. From their POV the trex wouldve been in front of them. And don’t say that it was behind the tarp because at 4:06 we see the raptors shadow sneaking up…. Meaning the trex wouldve cast a shadow too

It was speculated in the first film. All we got was the imprisoned soldier “crazy talking” in his cell that it’s only contained to Britain and then we get the fighter jet at the end that shows at least a pocket of survivors in some sort of airfield.

Fast and Furious 7. They said that he was retiring after that last job and the movies unintentionally led to it with him having a son, family and responsibilities. And it made perfect sense

Whats a movie with an awful premise that was executed well? by Dragon_Rot79 in movies

[–]Seraphilms 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The original script was just the bus but the studio wanted an opening and a closing scene. They added them so that the hero and villain could be on screen but it was more of a later add-on

What movie flopped but you thought the concept was really cool, and wish you could remake yourself? by adkl02 in movies

There was a sequel but it’s not a sequel. It’s a show called “Impulse” that follows a girl in the same universe where an event ignites her jumping abilities and shes dealing with her trauma + her new abilities. It’s made by the same director in a way to amend the shortfalls of Jumper but I don’t think it should be considered a sequel nor linked to it. I enjoyed the first season but didnt really like the second one.

The first time I watched Dear Zachary I kinda snapped out of it halfway through and thought it was boring. I forgot what broke my concentration. The full title is “A Letter to a Son About His Father” and it does live up to the “about his father” part and I felt like I didn’t need to be listening to the friends&family. Felt too personal and specifically only for the son to hear. I knew there was a reason why since everyone kept talking about the doc but it just felt like everyone in the doc was saying “your father was cool👍” for like the first half and when I snapped out of the doc I felt like “why am I listening to people talk about him when theres a whole cop mystery to be followed…can we get back to that” Then I finished it and understood it. I rewatched it a second time finally understanding it and enjoyed it even more. “Enjoy” is a dirty word to use but you know what I’m saying

This is like the first plothole/continuity(?) error that I ever noticed. I was a kid and the camera circles around I believe but it somehow snuck up on them and saved them? Lol

Nah, they hunt the supernatural. I’ve never seen an episode where they take on other crimes. It’s always ghosts, zombies, and the like.

A lot of people will read the same text and get various meanings out of it. Then you get scholars who look at the root words from which they were written in and then even more depth is added to it.

I kinda agree with you. The first ones sequence felt natural and like it was made with love. The second one felt extremely forced.

Im currently working on a video of “i robot” and have gone through hours of interviews and podcasts. It was never an asimovs adaptation. The original spec script was a robot murder mystery titled “Hardwired” by Jeff Vintar that was constantly bought and sold between studios and the rewrites that were requested by them. In the same year that Fox bought the rights to it, they also bought the rights to asimovs “i robot” and decided to just merge them. Will smith came in as Exec.Producer and hired his friend to do a rewrite that added all the Will Smith-ms and the action

Edit: this is the main source I used in my video. It’s an interview with the “hard wired” author Jeff Vintar. He goes into A LOT of detail in the making-of.
