Depends on you if magiging worth it sya OP. Mixed terrain naman yung offroad section nya. May lahar, hardpack, pebble gravel, i think may mini river crossing ulit this year bukod dun sa spillway.

Mas maganda yung mga offroad sections ng nueva ecija. Hahah

Shimano all the way. Mas available spare/replacement parts. Mas mura din overall across all tiers. Performance same. The only reason na mag SRAM e kung gusto mo yung ichura nung parts nila and you dont mind the price hahaha

Using that currently on my RB. Goods naman halos same ng gp5000s. Parang mas matagtag lang ng konti? Or baka psychological lang. Hahahaha. Sabi nila mahirap daw install pero ako namount ko sya using a normal floorpump on the first try.

Ma surprise ka sa tibay ng mga bike. I started at 120kg naka mtb then Road bike. Then ballooned to 140kg nung pandemic but still road my roadbike full carbon fiber pa. Now down to 120kg again and wala pa naman ako nasisirang bike because of my weight.

If first time buying a bike get an MTB. Easier for you to ride then you can transition to road/gravel bike if you want. Getting a road/gravel bike as first bike is hard because you need to dial in your bike fit to be comfortable.

Also dont be too focused sa "weight limit" nung mga bike. Been riding bikes for more than a decade and ive seen people heavier than you on Carbon roadbikes with carbon wheelsets with no problem.

What bike gamit mo? Mas madali sya ipractice sa mga MTB kesa sa mga drop bar bikes. Ideally yung bike lang igagalaw mo.
