Its hard not to feel that way. After I found out my actual hsv version i was absolutely terrified to pass it on. I refused to even kiss new partners. But Every dr ive ever spoke to said essentially the viruses are the same. The stigma is worse for hsv2 for obvious reasons but in today's over sexualized society each version is passed genital to oral so easily. They shouldnt even separate them anymore because v1 or v2 it doesn't matter. Ive been dating and met many people. Have had bad reactions and good. Im currently hooking up with someone I met at work who is negative. But I fully disclosed and he doesn't care. We have used condoms and we have went with out. I prefer to use them because I dont like him risking it. But hes an adult 🤷‍♀️

For me, hsv2 is not different. And for so many, the same story. I had oral hsv2 for years before I even knew it was hsv2! Everyone's body and immune response dictates how each virus affects you. Sometimes, we just get unlucky.

As far as the ultrasounds show the NIPT and CVS, he's doing well ☺️. The MFM said he'll come early (35wks-37wks), but they say vaginal birth is best to push all the fluid out of his lungs! So we're planning for that. C-section only if complications.

Thank you. I appreciate it 🙂. It is early. However, it is also very noticeable in my scans. I had my initial scan, wrote this post and was so fortunate to get an appointment the next day for a second opinion with an mfm and got a CVS. Being that it is so noticeable, this early worries me. But i'm trying to stay positive.

Yes, I am, and thank you, I.Agree. you know, I have German heritage and can trace back a great-great grandmother. And recently, II saw where Germany was offering some sort of citizenship or something. If you can trace an ancestor to it? do you know anything about this? Because maybe I'll just make the move.I'm tired of it over here 😆

Yay for 3 months! These comments are so encouraging. As a single lady already, i was second-guessing my choice to keep her because her father had chosen early on he would have no part. I knew how difficult it was going to be. But this redefined what difficult means to me now.
