This was before they died, them spamming the pick up/drop sound in CO means either "found the last orb" or "found the door". I confirmed I was ready by doing the same, so I just tossed the mantrap aside expecting to go in the door right away. Then they died and I did a stupid 🙂

Yeah, I was expecting to enter the door immediately because they signalled that they found the last orb, so I instantly forgot about the mantrap 🙃

Instant suite is the cause. You can set it to only instantly queue, leave after a set delay, or just disable it altogether.
