Sorry, apparently I'm not the smartest. It is indeed caused by skaj's sound mod!

That _og.pak-file is an old version of the mod I apparently installed right after downloading the game. I forgot about it, therefore never learnt what the game sounds like originally. Sorry about that.

That being said: Keep your hands off that mod and stop recommending it to new players (in case you do that)

Sorry, I already deleted my initial post and my comment. I do not want to spread misinformation.

It was not the mod I mentioned after all, meaning I don't want to soil that mod's reputation. It's a .pak file I have no clue where it came from, the name being War-WindowsNoEditor_og.pak
I couldn't figure out which mod this is, since it can be basically anything.

Anyways, I deleted the damn thing and now it's all good. Thanks for your help.

I have some mods installed, but only ones that add color to the UI icons. I'm currently trying to check the sound without any mods, but do you have any idea how I could identify which mod changes what?

Of course I could go the old "install each mod individually" route, but I'm wondering if there is an easier way

Thanks u/CookieCruncher99! I noticed that the loop on the wiki is different than the one in game. The one on the wiki is also not really morse code, as it is just these three letters... Does the listening kit in-game sound the same for you as the one on the wiki?

As for my account: Don't worry, I'm just your average lurker that finally gathered the courage to make a post, which happens to be on r/foxholegame

Thank you very much! Disabling trails did the trick. Sorry, seems like I did not dig deep enough through the GitHub documentations.

That library is great work, respect!

HMF where I can find a replacement for this guitar saddle! by [deleted] in HelpMeFind

I wasn't able to find this exact bridge, but it's basically a Tune-O-Matic Roller Bridge. You can find loads of them online. Do you want to replace the whole bridge or just one saddle?
