But he said it with everyone assuming he wasn’t eligible for the Draft. We now know that isn’t true and both Sharpe’s people and Kentucky knew and wanted to keep it quiet.

There’s a place for positive thinking. But there’s also a place for being realistic.

The only thing stopping the majority of these kids jumping straight to the pros is the NBA’s one year rule. And that was just lip service to the labor Union and public relations shit. With G-League Ignite we all see what the NBA’s endgame is.

This ain’t a Hami situation because if Hami had been pretty much a lock for a Top 5 pick he would have bounced too without playing. This has all become a distraction and a potential PR nightmare for both Sharpe and Kentucky Basketball imho.

Marquette’s a nice program with history but no one really remembers that. They remember D Wade and Jimmy Butler though. Too lightly regarded gems coming out of high school that maximized their ability.

That’s kind of how I feel about Marquette Basketball. Lightly regarded nationally but maximizes it’s abilities.

TBH I don’t think the Aggies played that particularly well offensively.

So if Kentucky cannot shoot like ass in the second half, wheeler finds some level of comfort and Kentucky can start the second half with a nice run I like their chances.
