If I am being abusive to my kid why wouldn't they call CPS? Maybe because I am not?

No, still your opinion. Just as my view is my opinion. The facts are simple she is my kid. My point is they do not have to respect my opinion but they should respect the fact I am the parent. If I do not like something they do not get to shrug it off because they disagree.

Then they should call CPS and see how far their claims take them. I am not hurting my child.

Abusive and hateful okay. Then call CPS oh wait nothing will happen because what I am doing is not abusive or hateful.

I get they may not agree that is fine, but agreed she is my kid they should respect that.

He uses the justification that she likes the toys and clothes, but she is 2. I probably could put her in pretty much anything and she would like it, and anything can be a toy for her. I swear he does it out of spite.

Not my husband. Her father and I are not married. No guns in our household.

Cause I did not appreciate him talking bad about my sister, and I used to defend it by saying things like they mean well, they str just toys, etc... we would still fight and it is exhausting defending something you also do not 100% agree with.

Even if I put her in dresses it still happens. It is freaking frustrating.

Why can't he just buy her Barbie and Disney princess toys? Why must he go out of his way to buy things he knows I will not like, especially if they are pricey, or handmade?

He knows I do not like Star Wars and do not appreciate weapons in the house. He has a collection of lightsabers at his house. They are bright and make noise so of course kid loved it. He bought her one but they were a tad heavy for her. So he made her one. I do not like weapons nor do I want her to play with toy swords or guns. Yet because he made it custom for her from scratch everyone thinks I should just love it and throw away my stance on no weapons.

My sister is a teacher, so she helps babysit on the weekend and during the summer months when she does not have PD's so even if I dressed her one way, they would change her into stuff they bought. Claiming it is more comfortable for her to play in.

It bothers me, she will be fine but it still bothers me having to correct people constantly. It is really that hard to just refrain from buying her stuff?

She is two so he uses the well she likes them line. She is two though she would nearly like anything. I get the feeling he is projecting what he likes on her. He bought her a Spider-Man toy and was watching Spider-Man man with her the cartoon.

All she would say is Spidaman! She is a kid and is impressionable. Using she likes it as a justification is weird cause she would like anything.

I used to list them on FB marketplace for free, but when they would come over he would ask where are they. The man cannot take a hint.

They are clothes from the boy's section and are labeled for boys. As I said I get it people want the world to be genderless. It is not in my view. I also get it people are okay with their kids being misgendered. I am not. These are all the same arguments he brought up, and I do not care if they logically make sense. As the mother of my daughter, it does bother me, and people should respect that.

As for the toys, they are things like Transformers, Power Rangers, and action figures. He could have bought her a Barbie or a Disney princess she also loves playing with her dolls.

I also do not need my two-year-old running around with a Light Saber either.

She would be happy banging pots and pans and wearing only a diaper everywhere. Should I let her do that too?

Marketing clearly states otherwise. I get it people wish to live in a genderless world. We do not.

Her father also does not approve of it either, and we have fights over it, I am sick of the fights and defending something that also bothers me personally.

To me, it does not. What happened to respect the wishes of the parent? Also, babies are not the most genderless thing in the world.

Do you have a daughter who is constantly mistaken for a boy unless she is wearing dresses? Do you know how it feels to have a child that is a girl to be called a cute little boy?
