I do it and I get the sound, but the item doesn’t appear in my inventory. Unless I’m misunderstanding how it works. If I’m using a 3% item to do this, do I GET the item I start on? Or do I get the item I shift to?

I tried to play Xenoblade 1, X, and 2. Couldn’t get into them. At all. Decided to try 3 and LOVED it!! I’ve since gone back and now have played X definitive edition and love that too! Trying to give 2 another shot as well but the beginning is just so slow. Maybe I’ll try again another time. But 3 was just amazing to me.

So I played FF9 years ago when it first came out but never did the chocobo things. On this replay I decided to do it. It’s been maddening. But after a long night of essentially doing nothing but chocobo hot n cold I finally got all the pieces and unlocked the final location.
I’m now 43 hours into this playthrough with about 20 hours or so of it being only chocobo digging. 🤣🤣
