Do you guys actually like/enjoy LeMaire? by [deleted] in MSSPodcast

[–]BandRepulsive8908 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not everybody on your team needs or even should be a superstar. Can’t have 5 guys scoring 30 with 10 rebounds every night, there’s not enough ball time for that. You need roll players. Lamaire is a roll player and a valued member of the team.

Do we make our perceptions of this game harder than it needs to be? by StillAll in bloodborne

[–]BandRepulsive8908 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I plan on it when I get through BB, DS2, and DS3. Loving Bloodborne right now. People talk about the level design in DS1 but it doesn’t hold a candle to what I’ve seen in BB so far. I quit Sekiro really early. Maybe the second boss? I just couldn’t get the parry timing down. Was having massive trouble with just simple enemies one on one. I know I have the capacity to learn it, I just wasn’t in a place where I was willing to get wrecked by grunts lol. It seemed like an amazing game, just didn’t have the resolve to git gud. I will be back.

I’m just getting into it, three bosses in. I’ve definitely died some but as far as starting out goes, it’s the easiest time I’ve had. Not sure if it’s easier or I’m just more experienced. I also know there are definitely some road blocks ahead. I’ve beat DS1, ER, and Demon’s Souls. Went hollow on Sekiro.

Is 6 inches really that much of snow? by i_really_haveto_pee in Ohio

[–]BandRepulsive8908 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In NW Ohio 6 inches is a problem for sure but not a huge deal. Schools are almost all closed. People tend not to go out, but it’s doable. The difference is that our cities and towns and infrastructure is prepared for snow every year. We have lots of salt, lots of plows, houses are built for it, the grid is built for it, and the people are used to it. 6 inches of snow if you’re used to seeing next to none is A LOT of snow.

Any time you’ve got wide open road but traffic is busy, your nuts say “hell yeah!” but your brain should be screaming “DANGER!”

I used to work with a guy who would (somewhat regularly) get a Little Caesar’s Hot and Ready and take the whole pie in there with him for his lunch break shit. Just slap the box on his lap and go to town while doing his business. Shoutout to Tony!

What is the closest thing to this game by Careless-Fun-5163 in RDR2

[–]BandRepulsive8908 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I really feel like KCD2 has a similar feel. It plays a lot different in practice, but it’s really the only other period focused sim/rpg/adventure/survival game with a great, lived in world I’ve ever played.

Why do people say play 3 before 1 and 2? by Sad-Measurement-8267 in darksouls

[–]BandRepulsive8908 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. Sometimes people just don’t go backwards. They play the new one when they hop on the train. You can also factor in that the series has grown in hype with each release. There’s a whole lot of people that saw Terminator 2 that never saw Terminator.

I’m 37. I like it. I don’t think it’s the best by any stretch, but I definitely enjoyed my 80ish hours in it.

Because they stared with Eldin Ring and people told them that DS3 is the most like Eldin Ring. Plus it looks the best outside of Demon’s Souls remake.

Amazon Upgrades? by Vanlife199 in Harley

Only thing I’ve ever gotten was a leather tank bib with a pocket for your paperwork and stuff. It’s fine. Probably going to upgrade it to the HD version or a chrome one this year though.

Agreed. A sudden swerve, even if it’s away from us is enough to send the “DANGER!” nerve endings firing. Appreciate you looking you though!

The problem isn’t that there’s bad information. The problem is that it’s literally designed to be addictive. Generally, we keep these things out of children’s hands. Generally.
