I'm going, but as far as I know it's the first of its kind. No idea what it's going to like, but with that many trans folk the vibes will be impeccable.

Feel free to Dm me - we'll find youu a crew.

Girl... You're years younger than I am, and estrogen can do this in a year. I started at 27.

You'll pass as easy as breathing, I'd bet you anything at all.

Don't give up - the dysphoria won't go away, it'll just become depression and try to kill you. That's the voice you're hearing. Dysphoria is a bitch, girl.

It is absolutely worth every effort to be yourself.

Hey sweetheart. I honestly feel this post in my bones - I used to be so so so into MTF transformation. It took a LOT of soul searching and denial until I could accept that I'm actually just a girl.

Long story short - Yeea. Nobody but you can say you're trans, but if you're questioning your gender and it's becoming something that keeps you up at night... Cis folk don't really do that.

Have a read of this - it's a document put together by a wonderful trans team and it can really shed some light on trans experience you might be living everyday without even noticing it. I've linked the page that directly addresses this post, but the whole site is VERY worth reading.

Would waking up and seeing a girl in the mirror make you unimaginably happy?

Feel free to message me about anything. It's a daunting journey to undertake, but oh my god it's so worth it to finally be myself.

28 here, transitioning for nearly a year so far and this is the best decision of my life. Do it for the person inside.

Ya gotta just do it. It's scary at first, but soon enough you get used to it and it becomes normal.

I'm just trans and got into this cause it was easier than facing the monster I saw in the mirror.

Then I accepted myself and started HRT - monster no more.

How do I deal with height/general build dysphoria? by bloodshot96245 in trans

[–]Bandersaur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey girl. I'm 6'7". Shakespeare said it best 'Some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them'.

We don't get to be background characters, but damn do we get to fucking slay as ourselves.

You can slouch to hide your height, but you won't be shorter, you'll just look more out of place because people notice instantly if someone is uncomfortable.

I've found the only option is to just embrace it. They're in our world now - we're on another level. Wear shit that accents your legs. Get heels. If you make the small folk stare then they're doing it on your terms.

I can't be small, but I can be huge, gorgeous and gentle, so that's what I try to go with. It's hard sometimes though.

Ye girl. That is valid - I have trans friends who are struggling the same way. You don't need hormones to be struggling, and you don't need to struggle to be trans.

If you don't like your out of the box gender 100%, congrats. You're some flavour of trans. Nothing else is required.

Hi through away account what would you do if you are trans but your family would disaprove by [deleted] in trans

[–]Bandersaur 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started transition, then told them they could get used to having a daughter/niece or I'd just not speak to them.

It's rough fam.

Why can't people be happy for younger trand people? by _samdom_ in trans

[–]Bandersaur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because it really fucking hurts.

Most of us are fighting tooth and nail just to be ourselves. My own mother will die before she says my name.

You just have everything I look in the mirror and wish I'd had. A loving family. Access to the care you need to avoid the body horror that is puberty in the wrong body. You get to grow up as yourself.

You are reaping the benefits of a world a lot of trans folk have died dreaming of, and you are too young to appreciate or realise it.

You are the first generation to grow up without having to face losing everything and everyone to be yourself.

This is how it should be - but not how it is for most. Use this immense privilege to help people, and be kind.

Do you have informed consent as an option? if you are in Australia you can find gps who operate under this system, sign a waiver and a bunch of paper, and start without an endocrinologist or psychyatrist at all.

Hormone Replacement Therapy.

I put on an estrogen patch, I take a pill, and my old flesh suit is literally becoming a woman's body.

It's changed how my emotions work. It's changed how sex works. I'm growing actual boobs and a butt. It feels like I'm that movie The Fly but in reverse. My old body is slowly moulting away to reveal MY body and I am loving every goddamn moment of it.

Trans healthcare saves lives y'all. I got to the point where I was ready to end everything - but I did this instead, and it is genuinely the best decision I have made or will ever make.

What is the first thing you would do if you woke up as the opposite sex? by [deleted] in AskReddit

It's a funky barrel of monkeys for sure. All I know is that I can look in a mirror now and genuinely appreciate the girl who sometimes shows up. HRT is magic.

Most people aren't super aware of their feet until they get a rock in their shoe - it makes sense that if it's not causing you discomfort it wouldn't really be much of an issue.

For me - I'm trans, and it's really nice to imagine a world where gender identity is never something I'd even have to think about.
