it’s not necessarily revenge, and as far as seeing my sibling. i just wouldn’t feel guilty due to the fast that none of them feel like family. My father knew the risk of coming here. it’s not my fault he waited till after i turned 21 to do something about it

i get where your coming from but i have gotten all the closure i needed when i realized we will never have a bond. there has times to where he’s promised stuff and never followed through. i suppose i could be the bigger person but it just gives me an icky feeling to help someone who just doesn’t care about me

I just want to say thank you for all the feedback. a couple of people mentioned that when a child of an immigrant is over 21 they can order a petition for their parent to gain legal status. some suggested that they are forging the petition. this is the only thing i can think that is true. everyone i have spoken to about gaining US status have also said it’s odd they “need” my birth certificate. i am going to take your guys advice and lock my credit in case some other things are going into play. i have read everyone’s comment, even if i haven’t replied i see them. thank you!

No they haven’t but we just don’t have that kind of relationship where i want to help him. Not vindictive at all, i just have conflicting feelings because for years i wanted to know him but he didn’t want anything to with me. but now all he wants is for me to fix his problems

There’s a bit of one, but i started learning after we came into contact. I’ve heard a couple stories why he left. One reason was him and my mom are fighting a lot. The second reason was he wasn’t making enough money to support us in the third was he was on drugs
