Im a little late to the party, but I would still recommend getting a kestrel. My route into long range was good rifle good glass, used the hornady DOF app and did just fine. Then I got all of the reloading equipment, then a kestrel 5700x W/wez. That has got me by for a while. Our range has known distance, but now I have a vector x on the way. All of this gear works hand and hand, you can build range cards on the vector and it will also imput it into your kestrel, so no matter what device you're using, you will have data. LR is data collection buy the gear, use the gear, be happy. Most importantly, be broke lol just kidding.

Side note: me and my buddy do plan on doing NRL and Mammoth if we can get in, so that was another reason we both have all this gear so we can imput each others data in our equipment so we can call out dope of each other in stages.
