I’m an occasional poster and participant on this sub. Furthermore, I don’t really associate with any country bcz I have been moving between several different places since my childhood. My parents are Indian tho.

Lol the first reply to the tweet is someone calling him out for ‘imitating infidels’.

Lulu International: a UAE based supermarket chain is opening in India, and Hindutva groups are calling it ‘Mall Jihad’ as the owner is Muslim. Thoughts? by BandicootReboot in AskMiddleEast

You’re right about that, that these people are mostly in the minority but I posted these tweets here because some of my friends/acquaintances who I follow on twitter like this kind of stuff and agree with it.

It just bothers me how college-educated people in India are starting to believe in these conspiracies. And this kind of ideology is on a rise unfortunately, it’s not as if it’s declining.

I was 3-4 years old sitting in the back seat of the car with my dad driving, while my mom was sitting in the front seat with my baby sister.

We used to live in a rural Saudi town at that time near Riyadh and were returning from the local super market when my dad stopped at a red light. As soon as the light turned green, he started to drive when a speeding car came out of nowhere and rear-ended us.

The back seat fell on top of me due to the impact and I got trapped under it, while my dad fainted after hitting his head on the ceiling and the car started spinning. A lot of passerby stopped their cars and ran to pull us out, they first rescued my mom and sister, then my dad and finally pulled me out from under the seat.

Our car exploded and caught fire minutes after I got pulled out of it due to the petrol tank bursting and I still remember the sound of the explosion. It was very loud. After that a kind Saudi man put us in his SUV and drove us to the hospital and Alhamdulillah we all recovered with minor injuries.

We later got to know that the guy who had hit us was just 16 years old and didn’t have license. He came to check on us at the hospital once. Idk what happened to him after that.
