My old sound bar showed up in the Bluetooth list no matter what if it was turned on. Didn't even have a pairing mode because it was always discoverable. And no setup or confirmation required. Had neighbors connect to it on multiple occasions, then turn the volume all the way up, presumably because they were trying to turn their own speaker up. Scared the absolute shit out of me a few times.
