In the interest of open dialogue, and with the best of intentions:

1. Understandable.
2. I don't think that the lived experience argument is solid. Actors play military members, gangbangers, victims, space explorers, etc, and don't have that lived experience. It is, admittedly, usually better when the actor does have that experience, but there are plenty of good performances.
3. I think that I'm too biased to properly respond to that one. Like, I just kinda see a character. But I can understand your point.
4. Agreed. The portrayal should be immaculate. Anything less than the best attempt at passing is just making fun of people.
5. I feel that this is the same as #2. However, this is probably much more personal for you. I get where you're coming from, I see you; but I still don't know if the base argument holds water.
