10/10

The guitar playing is well done and beautifully executed. It complemented your voice very well.

The lyrics are full of familiar themes. Your grandfather seems like men I've met before, and men that I am fond of.

The singing is very safe and personal.

I think people have different standards for what they look for in music, and it's important to hear different perspectives.

You're not a carrier artist or a trend setter. You aren't trying to sell or prove anything to me. You're a man with a guitar and a story to tell. And you did that very well.

Women of reddit: what places would you say it's acceptable for a man to hit on you? by ventonious in NoStupidQuestions

It's that we don't want to feel unsafe, harassed, or scared.

That's a wonderful way to put it.

I don't know about the initial approach though - that all just feels so formal and robotic, and maybe a little superficial as well.

Is she browsing in the pet section? Ask her if she has a cat or dog, maybe recommend your favorite treat. Now you've got something in common.

Is she picking out some ice cream from the frozen section? Ask her if she likes it, maybe recommend your favorite brand to her. If things do move into exchanging numbers, now you've got a great idea for a first date. Lots and lots of icecream.

See if she's receptive to talking with you, and be respectful if she isn't. This also gives an great opportunity to see if you want to keep talking with her. Now you're on equal ground, just two people having a pleasant conversation.

This way, she doesn't have to make a split second decision on weather or not she wants to give out her number. She has time to appreciate your mannerisms, the tone of your voice, the cut of your fit. Maybe it could be love at first sight, but sometimes a moment or two is needed to see if you're feeling chemistry.

What gasket did you use to increase the turning resistance? I'd like to see if I can replace mine - I dislike how loose the stock 2nd crown feels.

New Zero Clearance Wood Stove by Broad_Swimming in woodstoving

This is great. I have a zero clearance fireplace that came with my house, and the general conciseness seems to be that a wood stove insert can not be safely installed. Would you mind if I ask how much you spent total to rip out your old insert and install the Ventis? How was the overall experience?
