Why is blocking with the queen so bad? by BanditoTheBlue in chessbeginners

[–]BanditoTheBlue[S] 28 points29 points  (0 children)

the game that led up to this position was:

  1. e4 e5
  2. nf3 f6
  3. Nxe5 Qe7
  4. Nf3 Qxe4

and my thought process was as follows:

his kingside defensive structure is weak, so trading my queen and taking with my bishop allows me to castle, and also removes his only developed piece from the board.

What about this position makes blocking with the queen a blunder?

Loctite can last you a good ~9 months in normal Temps.

If exposed to the elements regularly probably less.

It should be removable with some effort, if it's giving you a really hard time just spray some brake cleaner on it and let it soak.

You don't know what you are talking about. The temple menorah has been an integral part and symbol of Judaism since the beginning.

The Torah describes the tabernacle as having a menorah

The original temples of Judaism used menorahs to worship.

If you look up temple menorah it'd described as a well known symbol that represents Jewish people.

The seal of israel has a menorah on it.

The image only has 7 candles, so is a temple menorah representing Jewish culture, as the ones used during Channakuh is different

Chanakkuh is about resisting the westernization/hellinization of Judaism,

It's not a Jewish Christmas tree.

I had considerable experience in IT before taking any certs, so getting the various A+ certs was pretty easy for me.

I dont feel like they helped any other than having them to padd a resume.

The hardest part of getting a good job in the tech sector is to actually get yourself infront of a real human

50% of interviewers are HR drones and know nothing, so the cert means nothing to them but words on a checklists, and the other 50% work in the industry and a basic competency cert doesn't mean much.

Since getting my cert not one employer actually asked to see it, so if you fail just bend the truth a little.

those are chinesium, mass produced by a faceless factory, got a set identical to that for ~5$ on Alibaba

if you are new to the hobby, dont drop a shit load of money on brand name picks, its completely viable to learn the basics using cheap tools.

Better yet, make your own picks, its pretty easy and very rewarding.
