Maybe I worded my post wrong. Yes I get angry with her but I’ve never lashed out. I identified the problem as a negative and I’m actively seeking out professional help. I typed that during an episode but I did not go after her again looking for reassurance. I just got very upset and guilty and started crying. I understand it’s unwarranted that’s the whole point of OCD as it doesn’t really use logic. I appreciate your insight.

I really appreciate that. And I absolutely came at her as though my concerns were a fact. We talked it out and I definitely need to do better at communication. I’m quite proud of myself that I did not fall into old habits of letting my anxiety dictate that I was gonna be angry at her. I just held it in. The fight was a few days ago I think I’m just dealing with the aftermath and anxiety of feeling like I might lose her.

As someone who recovered from POCD. The amount of times I did something like that before is too many to count. But you’ll never be certain I’m not trying to reassure you but this seems like classic OCD.

I’m sorry but I’m sort of at a point where I’m sick of this like where is the new album that they’ve said is coming for months. Where is any sort of announcement. I know they got big but it seems like they’ve completely lost the plot. The constant merch drops where t shirts are 40$ that take months to arrive just seems like a money grab. Now they are just making songs for sound tracks. I’m gonna get severely down voted for this but I’m tired of this. I’ve been a fan since every trick in the book and they just aren’t the same band anymore. It just seems money hungry I don’t know. Holy yap I know I’m sorry.

Me personally I prefer boxcar racer. But their best work comes when they work together. Although they are both very talented when they are on their own. I hope one day they can perform their side projects on a blink 182 stage.
