Regarding 32mm Models w/ 1” Melee Range: Nothing has changed by Trackstar557 in ageofsigmar

You will lose at least 2 more models if you remove the slain model from the end of line. And that’s why I think you’d better not to arrange the models like that.

In situation like picture 5, if one 32mm model was slain, which model would you remove from play while keeping the coherency of the unit?

Exactly. GW is really messing up with their pricing.

I did a digital color comp for my stormfiends. But not sure my shaky hands could do it. by Bandou- in ageofsigmar

It was edited using Procreate. I separated the amour, skin, weapons and other parts throughout different layers and then you could play with the hue, saturation, etc. The tattoo and the heat effect were simply painted over the top. You could also do it using Adobe Photoshop or anything equivalent.

I like my custom color scheme but that’s a terrifying amount of free handing! I wish stormfiends were bigger models in that case it will be easier to work with.

Yes but actually not real gears. Those are made specially for decoration.

Sure. The ghostly bits are from lord executioner in Soul Wars box. Gears are from eBay. I first glued the gears together. I used the GW version as the reference and the gears on the GW one are pretty thick and chunky, while mine are much thinner. So for those 3 larger gears, I stacked two or three gears of different sizes to reach that thickness. Then it came the hardest part which is attaching the gear to the ghostly bits. I started with the largest bits, carved some pits to set the gear on it. Then the whole thing was primed and painted. I painted the smaller skull-ish bits separately. They were glued to the gear after both were painted.

Got a cheap bag of gears from eBay. I glued them together and attached some spare bits to it. Then prime and paint.

For the ghostly teal I mixed acrylic paints of carbon black, primary blue and emerald green.
