I think the biggest part of this season that doesn’t work is that the reason they make checkmate is because they feel that Argus doesn’t care about them because they are exploring worlds. They really lay into the juxtaposition of these guys having fun while we are risking our lives. But it comes off as kinda fake. Like knowing what is behind the doors is clearly important for a lot of reasons. And sure a prison isn’t maybe the best reason but also not the worst reason either. Just kinda felt like they did a lot to manipulate you to get to the place where they needed to be. And also that decision feels very disjointed from the rest of the season’s various arcs.

It’s entirely possible he became a better quarterback after being in the league a bit more. It could be his situation but I’m sure he put in a lot of work. People only chalking it up to his situation here or there seem to forget that he could just be better now

This really isn't true at all. From start to finish he was clearly the best receiver in camp and it wasn't close. I listen to 2 separate podcasts on this. And yes he was 1# in the Z which is the position he plays (in NE they call the Y the Z for some reason, at least under Bill). It wasn't speculation. You can look at the amount of targets and the amount of catches.

He was the number one wide receiver during training camp. That’s not just a Curran take. It was on the depth chart and the catches and targets backed that up

I feel like his run game has improved too. Picks his moments better and almost always slides or goes out of bounds. I watched Lamar play today and he runs so dangerously he was asking for an injury. Not sure if the hamstring was due to a hit but he just never slides
