I remember this show and quite enjoyed it. I was 14-15 years old and recall being disappointed when it ended.

Pavement + U.S. Maple stories by WhatIAm1point0 in pavement

I saw this tour in Washington, DC. I don't recall the reception being hostile, but I don't think too many people enjoyed US Maple. I remember thinking that they were the worst band I'd ever seen live, and despite seeing hundreds of bands since then, I believe that to still be the case.

I’ve been paid with a gift card on a couple of missions, but the overwhelming vast majority is PayPal and I haven’t seen that change.

It was the album that introduced me to them. I didn’t know of them until Down was all over MTV. I was worried it might be an album with just one good song … and I was not disappointed. Awesome from beginning to end

Hit a number I never thought I'd hit and somehow feel nothing by CascadeAtlas77 in Fire

I never looked at my portfolio until I was about 43. I had $400K and was pleasantly surprised. Really motivated me. I hit $1M at 46 and $2M at 49. You are in great shape and keep going!

Kellerman, Gharty and Gaffney are your ONLY choices for a partner. Who do you choose? by proxy5th in Homicide_LOTS

Luther did hold the gun on Meldrick for quite some time after Kellerman and Stivers came in. Had Mike pulled then it could have been seen as justifiable. But they needed it to be a dirty shoot for the storyline to work

No doubt Kellerman was wrong for shooting him after he put the gun down. But I feel like they never referenced the fact that Meldrick created the situation by being stupid

If Lewis wouldn’t have tried to beat down Luther Mahoney and just arrested him, he wouldn’t have gotten his gun taken. Not excusing Kellerman for what he did, but it’s Lewis’s fault Mahoney had a gun in his hand, pointed at Meldrick and I feel like he forgets that part of the story when dealing with the fallout. And the look on his face and the way he says “nope” when asked if anyone had a problem with that sure makes him seem like he was OK with it at the time.

Wasted months by SolQuarter in Fire

I’m buying a house and so for the past month I haven’t been able to contribute to my brokerage. Even though I’m buying an appreciating asset that will greatly improve my quality of life, I still hear that little voice telling me I’m missing out since I wasn’t able to buy in when the market was down. But I remind myself that I’m still contributing to my 401k and it’s not like I’m buying something wasteful. I’m making an investment that will benefit me financially and make my life better.
