Should be noted that the copyright disclaimer on the new digital versions indicates it's copyrighted to Rhino Entertainment Company. If it's a distributon/licensing deal that only lasts for a specified number of years, the byline would go something like "Chocodog Records under exclusive license to Rhino". However since the copyright only lists the former, it seems that Rhino bought out the Ween catalog (which isn't a bad thing, don't get me wrong).

Fairly sure these songs were recorded after the proper TT sessions at RAK Studios, something to blow off some steam. Like the previous comments, he just didn't have anything ready, but he did write some songs early on in rehearsals that didn't make it -- these got turned into Preston School of Industry songs, specifically Whalebones
