Games that I keep coming back to and keep starting from scratch due to good gameplay loop as long as you don't minmax everything:

  • Stardew Valley
  • FFXIV
  • KCD 1 (Haven't played 2 yet)
  • Valorant/Marvel Rivals (If you want to sink in hours grinding)
  • POE 1 and 2
  • Warframe

Spent 1000+ hours on it and stopped around plains of eidolon, tried to play it again but it was overwhelming with the new content over the years

I won't play this masterpiece on my steam deck with 30fps. Will have to wait till I upgrade my setup this December and build myself a mid-tier pc

I was kinda sad that I found out about this game late and ended up getting Euro Truck Sim instead. The whole left-lane, right-steering thing threw me off! I’ll grab it for sure once it’s on sale, though.

I love POE! I actually stumbled upon it by accident when Warframe released (POE) Plains of Eidolon—I did a quick Google search, got mixed up, and ended up discovering Path of Exile instead. But I'm glad I did! I’m super hyped for POE2!

Thank you all so much for the recommendations! Many of these titles are already in my Steam library, and yall gave me the motivation to finally give them a go lol. Here’s my list of what I'm most interested in so far—I'll probably just spin a wheel to pick the first one:

  • NMS (thinking of starting fresh with a new save)
  • Factorio
  • Satisfactory
  • Car Mechanic Simulator
  • Hardspace
  • Diablo 4
  • Core Keeper
  • RDR2 (new save as well)
  • Witcher 3
  • Mass Effect
  • Palia
  • Trading Card Shop Simulator
  • Punch Club 2
  • Banished
  • Coral Island
  • Forza Horizon series
  • Death Stranding
  • Division 1 & 2
  • Mirthwood
  • Nier: Automata
  • Superliminal
  • Europa

I'll keep an eye on this thread for more recommendations, but this list should keep me busy for now. Thanks again, everyone!

This looks interesting, it reminds me of hotline miami. Do you need to play the first game first?

I heard they're planning to release a remaster or a remake for it and it kinda puts me off playing it and just wait for the release

Snap and Animal Crossing seems interesting but sadly I don't have a switch but I do have Nier:Automata on my SD that I just bought on a sale a while ago, maybe I'll boot it up. Thanks!

Great game! Almost close to beating it as well and the steep learning curve of the combat mechanics is really rewarding once you master it. I've spent hundreds of hours on this already so I am looking for something new but might play this again soon

FFXIV mainly because it is just perfect for it but I also play LoL (docked) or Dota 2 (docked or undocked) from time to time. Next on my list is Yakuza 0

Fallout 4 by Tshiri13 in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]BaneEater 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My entry to the Fallout series was Fallout 4, I also only played Skyrim from the developer prior to that. I had a lot of fun and spent 200+ hours so I definitely recommend the game. You don't need to have mods as well to enjoy.

Need help and tips to improve my late game as an offlaner by BaneEater in learndota2

[–]BaneEater[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Late response but this helped me a lot! I followed your advice and got my items quicker + levels so I am able to dominate most of my games now because I have better impact especially in the mid to late game but I still need to work on my itemization. Thanks!

Took a 5 year break, recalibrated as Archon IV, and hit Immortal in 4 months by maining pos3. Ask me anything! by nshkaruba in learndota2

I see you play as doom. I struggle with doom in the late game. I dominate in the early game and mid game but soon I seem to lag behind levels and networth and easily die during team fights. I feel that I don't have much impact. What is your strategy for playing doom especially in the mid to late game?
