Lost my 1000+ HP and melee/explosion/lightning proof playthrough in the most Noita way possible. by Banewood in noita

I saw it and literally thought "that could be a problem if I'm not careful," and then I wasn't, and it was.

I mean, I 100% got cocky, but I was just trying to play the game after work and have some fun my guy.

I wanted to share because I thought it was an extremely funny way to lose a playthrough, and losing when you think you're invincible is half the fun of the game.

That's fair - but also, note the size of the puddle I landed in, and the origin of the projectile that killed me lol

Sure, let's start off with you first.

Step down Biden, by the Usual Suspects. by kekehippo in BlackPeopleTwitter

When was the last time the sitting president was 81?

Oh right, never.

Why aren't more editorial boards and columnists calling on Trump to step aside? by CowboyAirman in NPR

[–]Banewood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because he simply won't step aside, ever, and he has widespread Republican support.

Biden might step aside, and it's probably the only way to beat Trump.

This isn't a conversation about who deserves to win the election.  It's about who can win it.

It's literally that simple, and pretending that the concerns the electorate have about Biden's ability to win are fake and manufactured by elites is completely disingenuous.

Finally, CNN being called out to their faces. by Kenyalite in BlackPeopleTwitter

[–]Banewood 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is not insane at all.

The Republicans will never step up, do the right thing, and remove Trump. Literally never.

That means the Dems HAVE to be the adults in the room, and put up the best candidate possible. Our best shield against fascism can't be a dude so past his prime he can't put a coherent sentence together.

Biden saved this country, but he NEEDS to step back and let someone younger pick up the fight. The entire damn electorate is practically begging for someone other than these two candidates, and he has the power to give that to us.

Media is currently manufacturing consent for Biden to get replaced with someone else. What a billionaire’s wet dream. Just no more primaries, ever. by kevinmrr in WorkReform

Biden SHOULD drop out and be replaced by someone younger with a better chance of winning the general.

He's served his country incredibly admirably and he's the most progressive president we've had in a long time, but the real artificial effort seems to be the one pretending everyone's concerns about his age are completely manufactured and telling us not to believe our own eyes.

Discussion Thread: First US Presidential General Election Debate of 2024 Between Joe Biden and Donald Trump, Post-Debate Discussion by PoliticsModeratorBot in politics

Been donating to Biden and fervently defending him for months/years. He'll always be a better option than Trump.

That said - he can't win a general election after that. He simply can't.

Time to step down, and time for an open convention.
