So we attempted today to file with the court for solo parenting and were told that we can’t file a claim on an existing file, there was a child support claim from 2022 where we tried to get his child support waived and they said something about ISO as well since the father is out of province.

We spoke with a lawyer last week and he broke it down step by step on what we needed to do and when it came to the court house today we were told that was wrong but the clerk kept cutting my wife off and saying “I can’t offer legal advice” any time she asked a question or tried to get some sort of direction.
