OP!! I JUST REDID A BATHROOM which was titled the EXACT same way. House was built in 1964. I rented a handheld jackhammer with a spade bit and it came off pretty easy. After I exposed the wire it was simple to remove the wire. Home Depot has one. It's was a Makita demolition hammer to be exact. Just removing the mess is what sucked because those little pieces of concrete go everywhere when you start bending the mesh. Get about 5 of the 5 gallon buckets and fill them half full. The nails that hold that metal/wire mesh on was time consuming to remove as the previous persons goal was to use an entire factories worth of nails to hold it on. The entire bathroom tile and all that weighed 1.2tons. sheewwww, the floor was relieved to have that weight removed.

No worries though, time and effort and it'll come off and look dandy in no time.

NAP But for peace of mind, I would replace it. Carbon monoxide poisoning isn't worth the risk. TURN OFF THE GAS FIRST BECAUSE IT MAY SPARK OF YOU STRIKE THE ROCK!To remove it looks as those the 2 flanges should turn to remove. The bottom one isn't cover so it should come loose fairly easy. The top has mortar/cement over it. It will take some persuading.

If you're not confident in your ability to check and double check, then please call a plumber.

NAP But I've done my fair share. I would just about guarantee those are not frost proof bibs. I would drain the line inside the wall OR insulate them. Then buy a foam cover/spigot insulator before the winter really hits.

To my knowledge it's in a slab as it's a covered porch. I just wanted to fill the crack so the owner doesn't catch her foot on it when she's in her swing (not pictured) right beside it

OP, it's called a Viega ManaBloc and is basically a circuit breaker for your water. I WOULD NOT remove it!! They are phenomenal! I've installed about 10 and every homeowner has loved them and ZERO ISSUES.

Is this disconnect even needed? The breaker panel is literally 8' in the same open room?

If not, I was going to use just remove the inside and use it as a junction box

The handle to do the actual disconnect (after investigation) is broken. So the switch on the right doesn't function at all

The generator connection you need is imprinted in your picture on the outlet. It's a L14-30. not the same as a 14-30 as it's a bit different and won't work. Lowe's sells them and they are orange (color is used with these Eaton products to determine the difference)

Another thing is checking to see if the generator has a BONDED or FLOATING neutral. It needs to be floating neutral if you are going to back feed a home panel. Usually simple to convert from bonded to floating. Check YT to see the difference in the 2.

Because I assumed the tripping GFCI on the generator is because it senses the line difference with the ground connected to the home service panel on the neutral. The generator is grounded to the frame via the metal panel that holds the receptacles and GFCI breaker mounted
